[NOTE] SERMON {The Resurrection & Life}

There are 3 points for this topic "The Resurrection & Life"

1. Has we read John 11:1-46 it talks about Lazarus.He was sick in the town of Bethany, the brother of Martha and Mary of Bethany. And when Jesus had heard the announcement about Lazarus death he saidin John 11:4 " This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that that son of God might be glorified thereby". I could imagine Jesus saying this to himself "I am the resurrection & life". Has we get into the story, Lazarus was dead for 4 days. The Jews believed that the spirit of a dead person stays around the body for 3 days. Jesus went to the grave of Lazarus, the man whom he loved so dearly and cried with a loud voice " Lazarus come forth, loose him and let him go". Whatever dead situation has you bound in your life, tell it to arise and come forth.

2. Has we take a look at Matthew 9:18-19 23-26 The rulers name in this story is Jairus, and his daughter is the maid. And the story talks about Jairus going to Jesus, worshipping the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, he is God in the flesh. Jairus told Jesus my daughter is even now dead, but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall LIVE. His faith is like the woman who had the issue of blood for 12 years. "If i just touch the hem of his garment i should be made whole". Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. When you ask God for something, believing in what u asked for, you shall receive it.When Jesus came into the ruler's house he saw minstrels and also people making noise. He said unto them, "give place for the maid is not dead, but sleepth. But how many of you all know that Jesus is the "resurrection & life" if you have any dead situation he will bring it back to life, just believe and you shall receive.

3. Has we take a look at Luke 7:11-18 It's about the Widow's Son at NainJesus came from Capernum where he had healed a centurion's servant. And now he went into a city called Nain. There was a large crowd watching a dead man being carried out. He was was the only son for his mother, and plus she was a widow. When you lose a half of your heart it hurts, and then the other half. Especially when it is a loved one, nothing in this world will make you feel better. So Jesus saw her, he had compassion towards her. He did not look on her countenance (outward apperance) for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; but the Lord looketh on the heart. It remains me of Daivd when then looked on his countenance, pity did they know, he was a man of Gods heart. The Lord said weep not, laid his hand on the bie, and said."Young man, i say unto thee, arise he that was dead became alive, glory be to God. The people began to fear God by glorifiying God, saying a great prophet is risen up among us, and that God hath visited his people.
